ABOUT THE APARTMENT
DEAR GUEST,
we welcome you to our apartment! It is very important that you read the house guidelines. It contains tips and instructions to make your stay more pleasant and comfortable. Here you can find any information you need about the apartment and some good local tips for your days in Rome.
Located on the 2nd floor of an ancient Umbertino style building, it is conveniently connected by the underground line A stations Repubblica or Termini, as well as by the metro B station Castro Pretorio and several bus lines. Termini station is close at hand. In the apartment street there is a local market, open for over fifty years from Monday to Saturday from 8.00 to 15.00.
The apartment consists of three beautiful independent, spacious and highly-technological rooms with air conditioning, a queen size bed, fast wifi network, walk-in closet and mini-bar. Each room has a finely renovated internal bathroom with shower. The hair dryer is in the bag hanging in the walk-in closet.
The apartment has been renovated with particular attention to respect for the environment and consumption as well as CO2 emissions. For instance, thanks to advanced home automation, when the window is opened, the air conditioning will turn off after 1 minute.
KEYS
Check-in takes place using access codes that will be sent to you only after completing the relevant online check-in procedures
New access codes are generated for every check-in and are unique. They allow you to open the main entrance of the building, the apartment door and the bedroom door.
Keys of the Main Entrance of the building and of the gate of Staircase A are available in your room and may be used for your next access as an alternative to the web app.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted in the entire apartment. Smoke detectors are located in the bedrooms and kitchen.
WINDOWS
All windows have different opening modes:
- casement opening, by rotating the handle to the horizontal position
- tilt-turn opening, by turning the handle further
AIR CONDITIONING
Each room is equipped with independent Air Conditioning.
Each unit is designed to cool the single room as needed. The different operating modes of the air conditioner (cooling, automatic ventilation and dehumidification) can be selected from the LCD display. The air conditioning switches off automatically after 1 minute when the room window is opened, for respecting the environment.
To turn on the air conditioner, hold down the ON button for about three seconds and the display will light up as shown in the picture below. You can set the fan power or the temperature set-point.
By default in summer the minimum temperature can be set up to 19 °C (66°F).
Moreover an automatic unit is installed in the kitchen to cool down the living in summer.

ELECTRICAL PANEL
Each room is equipped with an electrical panels that powers the room electrical system.
The general panel of the apartment is located in the kitchen.
In the event of a power cut inside the single room, go directly to the electrical panel installed in the room and lift any lever that gone down (see attached photo).
In the Rooms 1 Green and in the Room 3 Grey the panel is located behind the door. In the Room 2 Blue instead the electrical panel is located on the left of the door.
If this attempt does not solve the problem and the power supply is not restored, then go to the kitchen where the general panel is located, behind the left arc mirror. Unhook the mirror from the wall, gently place it on the side of the wall and open the frame door.
WINTER HEATING
The apartment is equipped with central heating. The temperature is fixed and set at 21°C (70°F) according to regulationa of the Municipality of Rome . The heating is turned on from November 15th to April 15th, as per Municipality decree, except for exceptional periods.
Moreover in each room the environmental temperature can be further set by the air conditioning units.
TELEVISION
Each room is equipped with a 43” flat-screen Smart TV with digital channels and streaming apps such as Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and Samsumg TV Plus. If the batteries of the remote control are flat, contact us. In the meantime use the touch buttons located directly on the TV to navigate through the channels and adjust the volume.
ELEVATOR
The apartment is on the 2nd floor. The building has a lift for up to three people. Please respect the recommended weight otherwise it will get stuck.
If the elevator is not on the floor, press the button to call it.
Remember to wait for the locks clicks before opening the doors.
Once you get to the floor, please remember to always close all elevator doors, bot two internals and the external.

RUBBISH
Please don’t throw your garbage in the entrance hall.
We will separate the waste placed in the appropriate bins in the rooms and under the kitchen sink.
For bulky waste, public waste bins are available on the street near the apartment building.

Near Termini station you can find the Central Market, where the artisans and their shops are the absolute protagonists. They present and tell about their delicacies with simplicity. The Mercato Centrale Roma offers many varieties of restaurants and a wide choice of products.
Below the apartment, you can find 3P “Bread Pizza and Pastry”.
For a romantic and special dinner please consider the Ambrosia Restaurant at Hotel Artemide in Rome in via Nazionale. The fresh pasta of the team led by Chef Massimo Gonnella is simply heavenly. Ravioli, gnocchi and fettuccine are true gastronomic art inherited from the Chef’s family.
If you want to find yourself in a magical and ethnic atmosphere, choose the Sanctuary, an enchanting place where you can have an aperitif, dine but also dance in an international context.
